The annual spring Kiwanis Work Weekend at Canyon Camp will be held the weekend of May 4, and we hope to see you there! In the words of Lee, "We have many projects to accomplish in this preparation phase leading to summer. A simple continental breakfast will be available with additional meals provided by the Kiwanis Club of Monroe.
Projects will get underway by 9:00 each day and will include a great deal of general cleaning in and around buildings, the main area, campsites, and program areas. Projects may include painting, plumbing, construction, etc.
Bring your gloves, favorite tools, and your enthusiasm to help in our preparation for summer of fun for youth and adults at Canyon Camp. Whether you can stay only a few hours, or the entire day, on either or both days, we look forward to seeing you at camp."
